Castelluccio di Norcia is more than just a small Umbrian village. Castelluccio is an emotion, a magical place where man and nature merge and rediscover their harmony.
The frame in which the village is set speaks for itself: Castelluccio di Norcia is located in the heart of Valnerina and within the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains. It is situated at an altitude of 1452 meters and a few kilometers (about 28) from the famous and evocative Norcia, on top of a small hill in the middle of a vast plateau. The view extends along the three plains where this expanse is divided: Pian Grande, Pian Piccolo and Pian Perduto, for a total of 15 km² of plateau surrounded by the Sibillini Mountains and dominated by the imposing Monte Vettore, with its 2476 m high .
For several weeks between May and July each year, the chromatic monotony of the pasture is broken by an incredible mosaic of colors, able to fill the eyes and the heart.
